DA has neglected to inform it's users that it is in the early stages of what promises to be a long, ugly legal battle, and anyone who's art is still up there will most likely become a causality of war. There are loop-holes in the regulations of DA in which once posted, your art no longer belongs to you, It becomes DA's property. DA has also neglected to inform us that within its policies (like the infamous policy #304) DA has the authority to seriously undermine the Copyright Laws and DOES NOT have to enforce them, hence the policy and behavior that direct tracing of even a copyrighted image is acceptable behavior.


If you chose to remain on DA, it is highly advised that you either remove all your work until this legal battle is over, or be prepared for the situation to get a hell of a lot worse. The only hope DA has left is if Jark wins this fight...he might try to return DA to it's former self, however at this point, I wouldn't count on it.






Please repost this and spread it to all your DA friends. They need to know DA does -not- have their back to protect their work and unless they know all the facts presented, they are defenseless in this.
